MSBA Members Entitled to Discount on Practice Management Software
NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. – November 20, 2014 – CosmoLex, a leading legal software developer, announced today that the Maryland State Bar Association has become an affiliate partner. This is the latest in a series of partnerships with bar associations across the country.
One of the reasons this partnership is good news for Maryland attorneys is that CosmoLex law practice management system offers integrated tools for the administration of trust accounts in accordance with state law. Law firms in Maryland must comply with Rule 16-606.1, Attorney Trust Account Record-Keeping, when handling IOLTA accounts. CosmoLex’s integrated trust account management features make it easier for law firms in the state to maintain IOLTA accounts within the bounds of this law.
CosmoLex offers more than just trust management functions. It helps Maryland lawyers stay on top of practice management responsibilities whether in the office or on the road. In addition to standard features like time tracking, team calendaring and one-click billing, CosmoLex gives special attention to the particular requirements of legal work. For example, all records get assigned to a specific legal matter, and docket control is automatic. CosmoLex saves its users time, accelerates receivables, and reduces costly errors across the board.
“CosmoLex is pleased to offer our practice management software at a discount to members of the MSBA,” says company CEO Rick Kabra. “Today, CosmoLex is used in almost all fifty states and one of the reasons for its rapid growth is our strategic relations with different bar associations.”
“CosmoLex had planned an international launch in 2015 but law firms from other countries began contacting us shortly after the U.S. release,” says company CEO Rick Kabra. “CosmoLex now has customers in nearly every state of the U.S. as well as in many other countries.”
Members of the MSBA who enroll now can get a 15% lifetime discount on CosmoLex’s monthly rate. This discount will remain in effect as long as the attorney remains an active member of the Bar. Attorneys can use CosmoLex free to evaluate its effectiveness in their practice.
