Tech Tip #273: Three Ways for Attorneys to Boost Their Online Reputation and Personal Branding

Three-Ways-for-Attorneys-to-Boost-Their-Online-Reputation-and-Personal-Branding

When we last spoke with Brad Poller of Princeton Internet Marketing during our Ask an Expert series, he suggested that all attorneys should dedicate 10% of their time to building their business through marketing and lead generation. Here are three quick wins that you can work on to boost your online reputation and convert more business:

  • Include testimonials on your firm’s website to increase your credibility.
  • Get reviewed on attorney directories or online review sites in general, such as Google, Facebook, or Yelp.
  • Get active on LinkedIn by building your profile, connecting with your offline connections and posting relevant articles and comments.

At the end of the day, you can spend all you want on paid advertising or make the most eye-catching website to increase your lead generation, but you won’t close on these business opportunities if your online reputation doesn’t portray you as trustworthy and credible.
