The Attorney Directories You Should Be Listed On

Attorney-Directories-You-Should-Be-Listed-On

Directory listings help marketing and business development efforts, offering Search Engine Optimization (SEO) benefits through backlinks while providing exposure. Attorneys can establish themselves as an authority in a specific area while obtaining reviews to showcase their expertise. Choosing which attorney directories to be listed on, however, can be overwhelming.

Not all attorney directories are equal, especially in the eyes of search engines. The most valuable directory listings get traffic from potential clients and also are viewed as authoritative from the perspective of search engines. This means any links to your website from the listing will be beneficial in helping to increase your online search rankings.

As you’re deciding where to put your efforts, consider the following top directories. While some of these are paid, don’t overlook the value of free directory listings. You can get plenty of mileage by being in as many places as possible to get new clients without spending anything other than your time.

Avvo

If you haven’t created or claimed a profile on Avvo, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not listed there. Control your online presence and claim your listing, updating it to include the information you’d want a prospective client to see if they came upon your profile.
