CosmoLex Announces New Partnership With Collaborative Community Law Initiative

CCLI Members Will Receive Free CosmoLex Subscription Through New Partnership

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – December 13, 2016 – CosmoLex, a leading legal software developer, announced a new partnership with the Collaborative Community Law Initiative (CCLI) today. CCLI is a legal practice incubator in Saint Paul, Minnesota that teaches graduates of Mitchell Hamline School of Law the skills necessary to establish solo and small, community-based, culturally sensitive law practices serving clients who face barriers to accessing legal services. The partnership is another example of CosmoLex helping to bring new and innovative solutions to the entire legal profession. By partnering with CCLI, CosmoLex will be better positioned to provide the best in legal technology to attorneys looking to launch their practices while providing low bono legal services in Minnesota.

One of the reasons this partnership is good news for CCLI attorneys is that CosmoLex assists them in the administration of IOLTA trust accounts in accordance with Rule 1.15 of the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct. CosmoLex Practice Management Software can even automate the Three-Way Reconciliation process, ensuring that law firms are always audit ready.

CosmoLex offers more than simply trust management functions. It will be able to assist CCLI lawyers with staying on top of practice management responsibilities whether in the office or on the road. In addition to standard features like time tracking, team calendaring and one-click billing, CosmoLex gives special attention to the particular requirements of legal work and accounting. CosmoLex is designed to handle the unique and intricate legal-specific bookkeeping requirements by taking care of your law firm’s accounting in the background, automatically and accurately.

“Legal incubators are serving the needs of early-stage lawyers really well and we are very proud to be a premier technology provider for them,” said company CEO Rick Kabra. “Our legal incubator partnerships allow us to bring value to so many attorneys looking to launch their careers who are not only looking to remain compliant but also take advantage of the latest technology with our ever-growing legal technology ecosystem.”

CosmoLex is proud to offer all members of CCLI a complimentary CosmoLex subscription for the duration of their program.

“In addition to the CCLI, we are broadening our scope and open to building relationships with other legal incubators across the country,” said Kabra.

Legal incubators interested in partnering with CosmoLex are encouraged to contact CosmoLex to discuss the opportunity. All inquiries can be emailed to information@cosmolex.com.
